An emotional journey to the heart of hunger in America. This film follows the story of Clay and Beth Murray, a working-class family in Massachusetts, as they struggle against eviction, homelessness, and inadequate nutrition for their children – all during a booming economy in one of the wealthiest communities in Massachusetts. Theirs is a dramatic tale of young parents facing humiliation and defeat when his multiple low wage jobs simply can’t provide food and housing. Over the course of the film the family is evicted from their home, are denied assistance by the state and end up living in a motel room with a baby and three year old.
